Rolling Blackouts<\/strong> happen when the power demand is greater than the power supply capability of the network.\u00a0 When the demand is greater than the network can handle, shutdowns can happen on a rolling basis.<\/p>\n

SDG&E has been put on alert that we are on the watch list for rolling blackouts due to the high heat.\u00a0 What does that mean to you?<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 SDG&E has been put on notice by California ISO (Independent System Operator), that we may experience rolling blackouts.\u00a0 The blackouts will happen by circuit, each neighborhood is assigned a circuit number. See your circuit here.<\/a>\u00a0They will last about an hour and will be put on a rotating schedule.<\/p>\n
